This amp tips its hat to the classic 5E3 circuit, but has its own unique character. The oversized Mercury Magnetics transformers, 6L6GC or 6V6 power tubes, Scumback speaker, modified circuit, and swappable tube rectifier get you anywhere from 12 to 30 watts of classic blues and blues-rock tones!
I offer kit and customized kit building. Upgrades are all scalable, allowing us to keep costs down and upgrade only those parts important to you.
All kits built by Doonster Amp come with a warranty, a personal online photo album of the build process, a 100-hour burn-in, and a number of play tests.
I offer repair services for vintage or new-vintage tube amplifier designs. All quotes and repairs are unique, of course. Typical repair services are cap jobs, pot and tube socket cleaning, tracking down crackles and hums, biasing your amp, and general tune-ups to make sure your amp sounds its best.
